One road trip, one perspective, two wholly different worlds. This is the view out my window at the beginning and end of my trip from The Colorado Rockies to the outskirts of Port au Prince, Haiti.
Haitian school girls help Kelsey, a Colorado State University student, balance her load. Kelsey thought she would try carrying the 25lb can of rice Haitian style. She only lasted for a few minutes along the 1/2 mile journey to the village of Chambrun.
Location: Chambrun, Haiti. 15km north of Port au Prince. This rural village has been transformed over the past 6 years by an outreach called Nehemiah Vision Ministries. The lame walk, the sick are healed, and the Good News is preached to the poor.
Tomorrow I’ll be jumping on a plane, bound for Port au Prince, Haiti. This is my third trip since January.
